Rather, these are suggestions for places to get started. Web sites are listed in alphabetical order within each category.

Additional listening sites are listed below, in alphabetical order by name. Many of them use email or typing (keyboarding) but some also offer choices for phone or video (e.g. with Skype), instant messaging (e.g. with AIM), or traditional forms of writing (e.g. postcards).
